FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You must be over 25 years old and have a minimum of 2 years of experience with a motorcycle license. You must have at least 5000 kilometers (3000 miles) of riding experience in the last 3 years. To pick up the bike you must present your passport and driver’s license. You should also have an International Driver’s license which is required by European Law.

Citizens of the EU, USA, Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand, and Ireland do not need a visa to stay in EU countries for up to 90 days. If you are a resident of another country, please check with your embassy.
Your credit card, required for the insurance deductible, driver’s license, international driver’s license, and passport need to be presented on the first day of the tour and during your travel days at border crossings.

The security deposit/bond per bike is 2000€ and needs to be paid latest on the day you pick up the bikes. You have the option to pay in cash on the spot or banking details can be organised beforehand for a bank transfer.
Provided the bike did not get any damage during your rental period, full bond will be returned by the same means it was deposited (ex. cash deposit will be returned in cash on spot/bank transfer will be returned via bank transfer within 24h after the end of rental period)

Yes! By law an international driver’s license is required for all non-EU citizens.

By law helmets are mandatory for drivers and passengers of motorcycles in Europe. Please note that only motorcycle helmets with ECE 22.05 type-approval are road-legal on European roads. 

If you cancel your rental more than 30 days prior to your rental you will be refunded 100% of your rental cost.
If you cancel 30-15 days before your rental you will be refunded 50% of the total rental cost.
If you cancel 15 days or less there will be no refund (in case of extenuating circumstances please contact us ASAP and we can see what can be done).

Motorcycle insurance is included in all of our rentals but you are responsible for the excess of 2500€
In the event that the rented motorcycle experiences any damage during your rental period, please notify us promptly. Depending on the nature and extent of the damage, you may be responsible for covering the insurance excess or replacement costs. It’s important to review our rental agreement for specific terms and conditions regarding motorcycle damage. While we understand that accidents can occur, your prompt communication is appreciated to help maintain the quality and performance of our motorcycles.

Helmet and gloves are included in all of our 28 day rentals. Motorcycle jackets, GPS devices and other motorcycle gear can be rented out for additional cost. To find out more about our equipment rental and prices please contact us.

Yes, our motorcycles can be ridden in other European countries. We in fact encourage you to explore what rest of Europe has to offer.
If you know your plans in advance, then it is a good idea to list the countries that you intend to visit during your rental in the comment section of the booking form.  
Please note: It is strictly forbidden to take our motorcycles to Morocco or outside Europe! 
Outside of Europe there is no insurance coverage and the customer would be responsible for all damages that might occur as well as for the loss of revenue to Outlander Moto for each day that the motorcycle would be unavailable to the company.

Track riding is strictly prohibited on all Outlander Moto motorcycles. There is no insurance coverage on the motorcycles for racetrack riding and you will be responsible for the full amount of the damages and loss of income to Outlander Moto.
